Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Well, hello! My name is Holly and I blog over at HollyDolly (http://hollykeenan.tumblr.com) - my personal style diary. I’m clothing and fashion obsessed. In fact, I went to school for fashion design at both Buffalo State College and The Fashion Institute of Technology. Other than that, I just recently became engaged to my high school sweetheart, and am busy dreaming and planning my wedding.

Q. Your most favourite “thing” to photograph.

Well, I mostly photograph myself and my clothing for my personal style blog. Which I love doing. But I also enjoy taking pictures of mine and my fiancé’s little adventures. Whether we’re just going for a walk along the river, or taking a road trip back home - I always love to take pictures!

Q. Whats inside your THEIT bag?

 I use my THEIT bag as my regular purse, even when I happen to not have my camera. So, of course, I have my wallet, phone, ipad, sunglasses, beauty basics, etc. I also always carry a snack - I’m notorious for getting sick if I don’t eat something as soon as I get hungry. I usually always carry my DSLR Canon Rebel xti, as well as the remote control for it - since I take photos of myself. If its a period of time where I’m taking a lot of theses photos, I might also carry and extra lens and mini tripod. When I had taken the picture above I was on a little visit home, so I swapped the lens and tripod for my Fujifilm instant camera.

Q. Share one photography tip or trick that you most love.

Oh boy. Well I’m definitely no professional, and I’m still learning how to use my camera every day. But i’ve learned to not be afraid to play around with the settings. There is so much you can do, and the only way to learn it is to try it. I also have learned the importance in lighting. It makes all the difference!
